  5.              A cookie connoisseur inquired about obtaining the recipe for
  6.         Mrs.  Fields  Cookies  and  was told by a sales clerk at  a  Mrs.
  7.         Fields store that the recipe was available for $25.00.  The clerk
  8.         gave her a number to call to order the recipe.
  9.  
  10.         When  she  called the number,  she was told that the  recipe  was
  11.         available  to the public.   When asked how she wanted to pay  for
  12.         the recipe, she indicated by credit card and gave her credit card
  13.         number to the person taking the order.
  14.  
  15.         The  recipe  arrived,  so did the credit card receipt  indicating
  16.         that  she  had  paid $250.00 for  this  precious  recipe.   After
  17.         contacting her attorney, she was told that the deal was legal and
  18.         she had to pay $250.00, and not $25.00
  19.  
  20.         Her revenge is giving this recipe to everyone she possible can. 
  21.  
  22.         The  recipe  has  been  tried and it is  difficult  to  tell  the
  23.         difference  between home bakes with this recipe and  Mrs.  Fields
  24.         store bought cookies.

  70.         Cream Together:          2 Cups Butter
  71.                                  2 Cups Sugar
  72.                                  2 Cups Brown Sugar

  74.         Add:                     4 Eggs
  75.                                  2 Teaspoons Vanilla
  76.  
  77.         In Separate Bowl:        4 Cups Flour
  78.                                  5 Cups Oatmeal (put small amounts in
  79.                                                  blender after measuring
  80.                                                  until it turns to powder)

  82.                                  1 Teaspoon Salt
  83.                                  2 Teaspoons Baking Powder (a pinch more
  84.                                                             to make
  85.                                                             softer)
  86.  
  87.                                  2 Teaspoons Baking Soda
  88.  
  89.         Mix All Ingredients
  90.         Together and add:        24 Oz. Bag of Chocolate Chips
  91.                                  1-8 Oz. Plain Hershey Bar, Grated
  92.                                  3 Cups Chopped Nuts (any kind)

  94.         Place Golf Ball Sized Cookies 2" Apart on Ungreased Cookie Sheet. 
  95.         Bake at 350 for 6 Minutes.  This Makes Approximately 112 Cookies.
